What you'll do
- Tap a QR code and read the address it wants to open before anything loads.
- Compare it with a second code from a different source.
- Land on a convincing sign-in page and decide whether to type anything into it.
- Back out safely from the one that is wrong.
- Learn the habit of reading the address, not the logo.
What it teaches
Before you scan, open, or send: where did it come from, where is it actually going, and why? A surprise code asking for money or details is a reason to stop.
